Put the three steps into practice
Start with a short written summary of the work already completed and the period it covers. Note any documents you still need to find, and separate those from questions that need an explanation. Finally, agree who will follow up each open item and when you will check progress.
Our free Business Readiness Kit includes a printable checklist and a blank missing-records tracker. Keep completed records private and agree a suitable sharing method with your accountant; do not put account details or passwords in public comments.
For a fuller changeover process, read the switching-accountants handover guide. Regans supports local businesses with bookkeeping. Contact the Gregory Hills office to discuss what help you need.
